LNESC San Diego

In 2018, LNESC-San Diego began serving students through their Upward Bound program at Grossmont High School. This program focuses on assisting students that are low-income and students from families in which neither parents holds a bachelor’s degree. The mission of Upward Bound is to support students complete their secondary education and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. Students receive support by having access to tutoring in various academic subjects, such as Math, Science, History, and Spanish. In addition, students get the opportunity to visit various local universities and colleges. Workshops are also offered in various subjects to best equip students with the knowledge and tools to graduate from high school and be successful in their post-secondary education.

Upward Bound
