“Being a part of the LNESC Upward Bound Math & Science Program helped me be successful. It helped me through developing social skills, learning to be college bound, and having experiences throughout my high school. The program gave me a safe place to talk about my goals and what I wanted to be in the future.”
-Isela, Upward Bound Math & Science participant
“Through the program, I was able to be in a community with like-minded students where I was able to share and listen to each other’s experiences. The (Shell Science Corps) program taught me a variety of things…it will teach you self-discipline, humility and even develop your social skills so you could bring them to the real world.”
